Lady Of The Lake.

Once in a while, you’ll experience a shoot that really motivates & reminds you of why you continue as a photographer, this was one of those shoots.

A fellow Seattle based photographer that I admire watching grow into his craft; contacted me about the possibility of doing a collaboration shoot. For a few weeks we went back and forth with ideas – Location, designer, model… the whole 9 yards. We wanted this shoot to really showcase the vision we had in mind.

The day of the shoot we ventured out of the city to Rattle Snake Lake, near North Bend. The fog lingered, beautiful mountains stood over us and the water glistened.

We had an amazing team of people on board for what turned out to be a “party”. A beautiful designer that created these magical, flowy garments, a fun and super talented makeup artist, a hair stylist who took the time out of her day to stop by for 40 minutes to work her magic and of course this wonderful model who braved the chilly weather to give us exactly what we wanted to capture. My partner and also good friend came by to assist in any way they could, which made all the difference in how these turned out.

This truly was a wonderful shoot and one of the best experiences I’ve had since I’ve picked up a camera.
